Fishery description This case, is an academic practice to understand the operation of the fishery of Punta del Hidalgo in Tenerife, therefore, 3 young people, acting as social researchers have moved to the northeast of the island to learn the fishing techniques and gear traditional, the division of labor within the cofradía, the way of marketing and, finally, the problems and advantages that the creation of a Marine Reserve in its waters would have. In addition, the incorporation of many young people has attracted our attention, being the youngest employer of the Canary Islands.
